Do what you love and love what you do…that describes me perfectly!

All of this cake and cookie madness started with a lifelong love of baking.
It is my creative outlet and it makes people happy…I like happy people!
By education I am a Registered Nurse but my passion has always been baking.
I am completely self-taught creating all of my own cake, cookie and buttercream recipes.
Thankfully my husband is a willing taster!

Segue to 2002 when my husband & I were lucky enough to move to Appleton, Maine…yea!
After many years of baking and gifting, in 2003 I created my dream business naming it
Maine Cakes & Cookies specializing in premium gourmet, baked to order from scratch
hand decorated butter cookies, decadently delicious butter wedding cakes,
pound cakes & bars…remember, all butter all the time!!

All of my rich, buttery cakes, cookies and buttercream flavors are made
in small batches, one at a time, just for you in my licensed home kitchen in Appleton, Maine.
I never use a box mix. My cakes & cookies are made fresh with Land O Lakes Butter,
Domino Sugar, Pure Nielsen-Massey Vanilla, Gold Medal or King Arthur Flour,
Premium Ghirardelli Chocolate, Wild Maine Blueberries, Fresh Georgia Pecans,
Fresh Penzey’s Spices and Farm-Fresh Eggs.

I am a one woman operation…all of the consulting, baking, decorating
and packaging is done by me. I find this to be a very rewarding life.
Thank you!
